2008-09: In Lund’s rookie season he played in 45 games recording one goal and three assists for four points. Lund spent 36 total minutes in the penalty box during the season. Lund scored his first career WHL goal against the Tri-City Americans on January 17. It was the game-winning goal in a 6-4 come from behind victory.
2007-08: Lund played 36 games with the Grand Prairie Storm of the AMHL. He had 10 goals and eight assists for 18 points with 54 penalty minutes. He also appeared in seven games for the T-Birds but did not register a point.
