T-Birds fans invited to honor team’s spectacular season

Event is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 6 at the ShoWare Center plaza in Kent

Fans are invited by the Seattle Thunderbirds to help honor and celebrate the junior hockey league team’s 2022-2023 season at the accesso ShoWare Center plaza in Kent.

The free event is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6. The event will include live music and an introduction of the Western Hockey League (WHL) champions.

Seattle won the WHL title to advance to the Canadian Hockey League Memorial Cup tournament in Kamloops, British Columbia. The Quebec Remparts beat the T-Birds 5-0 to win the Memorial Cup title on June 4.
