Good work, council, on fireworks ban

I applaud the work of the City Council members for their comprehensive and methodical consideration of banning fireworks within Kent.

While some in our community demanded a more prompt resolution following the November advisory vote, the City Council chose a more thoughtful and patient approach.

Well done, City Council, well done.
