Library needs better safety

Recently I stopped at our beautiful King County Kent library in the evening. Usually I visit during the daytime.

This evening time visit was dangerous and a bit scary – as there are very few lights in the parking area.

Several small groups of people were hanging out, and I nearly tripped on a curb returning to my car. I ended up using my phone light to see the curbs and walkways to my car.

This area and the adjoining park area need much better lighting.

City Council, please check out and remedy this problem. It’s a safety and liability issue.
