We spoke loud, clear

I was absolutely flabbergasted to read in the Kent Reporter that Councilman Les Thomas wants to revoke the fireworks ban.

Is he kidding? We have spoken loud and clear in 2015 by a vote of 62 percent to ban fireworks.

What is Mr. Thomas’ motive here?? And then making a statement like: Why would we find someone $250 to light a sparkler? What an insult to all people whose houses burned down, fingers and hands blown off, eye injuries, etc.

It’s more than just a sparkler, Mr. Thomas.
