Published 2:50 pm Thursday, September 18, 2025
Downtown Kent will come alive and might be pretty spooky during the Halloween Themed Spirits Walk from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24.
The 21 and older event will feature tastings from boutique distilleries and local makers as guests will enjoy a self-guided crawl through downtown businesses hosting unique tasting stations. Live music will fill the air, and guests are encouraged to dress to impress, as secret judges will hand out prizes for outstanding costumes, according to a Kent Downtown Partnership press release.
The event will feature sips from:
2BAR Spirits, 40 Acres Blending Co., Alpenglow Cocktail Company, Contrivance Wine & Mead, Four Leaf Spirits, James Bay Distillers, NightSide Distillery, Oppegaard Meadery, Whidbey Island Distillery and Wohlfert Craft Distilling.
Mocktails and small bites also will be available from Kent’s Sweet Themes Bakery.
Shops and restaurants will be open to the public; tastings are for ticket holders ages 21 and over.
Proceeds benefit the Kent Downtown Partnership and go toward future events and programs. The music portion of this program is supported by 4culture.org.
Tickets are on sale at downtownkentwa.com. The cost is $30 in advance and $40 at the Kent Downtown Partnership door, 202 W. Gowe St.
