Chamber luncheon features motivational speaker Patrick Snow, known as “the Dean of Destiny”

The Kent Chamber of Commerce's March membership luncheon March 2 will feature best-selling author Patrick Snow, also known as the "Dean of Destiny," for his inspiring look at how businesses - and the people who comprise them - can achieve their best. The event runs 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Meridian Valley Country Club, 14830 136th Ave. S.E., Kent. Snow found his calling as a coach and speaker after being laid off, following the economic downturn associated with 9/11; and then again in 2002, in the high-tech sales industry, when he decided to retire from corporate America on his own terms.

The Kent Chamber of Commerce’s March membership luncheon March 2 will feature best-selling author Patrick Snow, also known as the “Dean of Destiny,” for his inspiring look at how businesses – and the people who comprise them – can achieve their best.
Those “terms” have included writing a best-selling book, “Creating Your Own Destiny: How to Get Exactly What You Want Out of Life and Work,” which sold 150,000 copies and was translated in multiple languages. His second book came out in late 2010 and is titled “The Affluent Entrepreneur: 20 Proven Principles for Achieving Prosperity.”
Using two key tools: his “Sales Success Formula” and “Destiny Secret,” Snow also has operated as a business coach, helping companies struggling with limited budgets to be successful.
Snow, along with his sons Samuel and Jacob, resides on Bainbridge Island.
Registration for the event is $12 for a soup-and-salad option, and $20 for a full lunch.
To register for the event, contact Marge Williams at the chamber, at 253-845-1770, or visit the chamber Web site at kentwa.usachamber.com.
