Torklift Central RV is hosting a classic car show June 2nd from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. during their open house.

The first annual Stuff the RV Classic Car Show is free to enter and free to attend. Entries must be received by May 18.

“To qualify for entry, vehicles can be no newer than 1976,” said Rick Shafer, general manager. “The year signifies when Torklift Central first opened for business.”

Several prizes are awarded during the event. Trophies are provided to first through third place along with cash prizes.

The top three classic cars are chosen by the public during the open house. A free catered barbecue lunch is also provided during the car show.

The car show is the kick off to the Stuff the RV donation drive benefitting soldiers stationed overseas. During the car show, the business is collecting non-perishable food, hygiene products, reading material and games for troops.

“We have a goal of stuffing one RV completely full with donated items,” said Shafer.

Car show entrants also receive a raffle ticket for giveaways. For each item donated to Stuff the RV, an additional raffle ticket is given. Raffle tickets are made available to entrants and the public for donations.

Torklift Central is located at 917 Central Ave. S.

To enter the car show, call 253.299.0076.
