Kent plans recycling event for March 17

At Hogan Park at Russell Road

Start that spring cleaning early and get rid of unwanted items at the city of Kent’s annual free Recycling Event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at Hogan Park, 22440 Russell Road.

Bring items that are hard to recycle at the curb including tires, most appliances, batteries, Styrofoam, small electronics and woody debris (4 inches in diameter or larger). For a complete list of what to bring, visit KentWA.gov/talkingtrash.
