Kent Police Business Crime Prevention Summit set for March 24

Topics include building an effective partnership, homelessness, gangs and graffiti

The Kent Police Neighborhood Response Team invites Kent business owners, managers and employees to attend a Business Crime Prevention Summit from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 24 at accesso ShoWare Center, 625 W. James St.

Attendees will hear valuable information on effective police partnerships, crime trends, prevention and much more, according to a police statement.

The topics include:

• Building an effective partnership

• 2021 criminal law update

• Current public safety landscape

• Drug issues

• Homelessness

• Gangs and graffiti

• Reporting criminal activity

• Q&A roundtable
