For the Reporter

Kent dairy delivery company Smith Brothers Farms has announced its participation in the Movember Foundation’s annual campaign, which is responsible for the sprouting of millions of moustaches throughout the world.

Twenty-two milkmen and front office employees have committed to growing and grooming a moustache throughout the month of November in an effort to help raise awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer, testicular cancer and metal health.

In addition to growing moustaches, Smith Brothers Farms will encourage their customers to donate and get involved with the campaign through messaging on their milk cartons, sponsorship of the Mustache Dache 5K run, social media channels, and their Mo’Space page: www.mobro.com/smithbrothersfarms.

“There may be a few really bad moustaches in the group,” said Dustin Highland, CEO of Smith Brothers Farms. “But the point is to raise awareness, and a week-old moustache will definitely be brought up in conversation. We are excited to help promote men’s health in our community.”

The Movember Foundation is the leading global organization committed to changing the face of men’s health. Once signed up on Movember.com, men grow and women support just a moustache for the 30 days of November, getting friends and family to donate to their moustache growing efforts.

The Movember community has raised more than $550 million, and has funded more than 800 programs in 21 countries to date. The work is saving and improving the lives of men affected by prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health problems.

This is the first year Smith Brothers Farms has been involved with Movember.
