Naked Pizza – specializing in natural ingredients for a healthier taste – joins the restaurant mix at Kent Station shopping center. The eatery, which officially debuts Friday, will be open daily 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

“Naked is about great taste, clean ingredients and feeling good,” said general manager Mark Sieber. “We took the junk out because it tastes better. No guilt, fewer calories, all good. … It’s a pizza for the way people here live — who enjoy getting out, doing cool things and having fun.”

With 25 stores throughout the U.S. and overseas, the Kent eatery is the first of several locations coming to the Puget Sound region and the only one currently modeled as a sit-down restaurant, officials said.

“We selected Kent Station for our first location in Puget Sound because of the population density and the community,” Sieber said. “There are few options for pizza, and no healthy pizza options in South King County.”
