Two Kent businesses named finalists for regional award

A pair of Kent businesses – POP! Gourmet Popcorn Company LLC, and Golden Steer Restaurant – were among 21 finalists for the King County Executive's Small Business Awards.

A pair of Kent businesses – POP! Gourmet Popcorn Company LLC, and Golden Steer Restaurant – were among 21 finalists for the King County Executive’s Small Business Awards.

Winners in seven categories will be announced at the third annual Small Business Awards program on Sept. 25, from 7:15 to 9:00 a.m., at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue.

King County Executive Dow Constantine – in partnership with award sponsors KeyBank, Microsoft Corporation, the Workforce Development Council of Seattle-King County, and the Economic Development Council of Seattle and King County – recently named the finalists.

The awards program recognizes small businesses throughout King County that best demonstrate innovation and excellence.
