Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care offers job fairs Jan. 20 and 27 for a variety of positions within the health care industry.

Fairs are open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day at the Valley Cities Administrative Offices, 33405 Eighth Ave. S., Suite 200, Federal Way.

Positions include residential housing specialists; wraparound facilitators; youth peers; nursing staff for inpatient/detox; substance use professionals; and more. There is an opportunity for per diem hours and non-traditional hours including part-time, on-call and night shifts. Hiring managers will be on-site at each job fair.

The need for professionals within the behavioral health care industry continues to grow. Valley Cities is stepping up to meet King County’s mental health and substance use crisis.

Valley Cities, a nonprofit agency, has provided treatment services to residents of King County, primarily South King County, for more than 50 years. In 2016, 12,900 people received behavioral health services, including mental health counseling and chemical dependency treatment for people of all ages; domestic violence services; homeless outreach services and housing programs; family support programs; employment services; and specialized services for veterans and their families.
