I would like to nominate letter writer Paul Nickelson to a citizens advisory position to help the city planners with a new proposal for a police building.
My letter of a couple weeks ago was obviously incomplete, as he pointed out the missing architect and design fees necessary for a commercial building project. However, his conclusion is the same as mine: over $650/square foot is too much.
Mr. Nickelson seems to have experience in this area, along with some common sense.
If the leadership of our city presents the voters of Kent a reasonable, affordable facility proposal, we will pass it.
