Too much careless spending

I couldn’t agree with Julie Furlong’s letter more. (“Irony and bad timing,” Kent Reporter, Sept. 22).

The Kent City Council and school board need to look closely at all spending, instead of just raising our taxes.

Remember there is an election coming up: Don’t re-elect anyone.
