What’s the problem? Ban fireworks

I do not understand what is to discuss concerning banning fireworks in the city of Kent. The City Council has no problem raising taxes without an "advisory vote," but fails to follow the clear direction of all who voted.

I do not understand what is to discuss concerning banning fireworks in the city of Kent. The City Council has no problem raising taxes without an “advisory vote,” but fails to follow the clear direction of all who voted.

It is hard to understand what is so difficult about taking action on an issue to protect Kent citizens and property.

If all the towns surrounding Kent have banned fireworks, where do you go to legally shoot them off? That is a redundant question, it is Kent.

I urge the members of the council to ban fireworks, or as an alternative, the citizens who voted for the ban to vote against the members of the council when they come up for election again.
