Christian music festival coming to Kent Sept. 11

Nearly seven-hour event at ShoWare Center

A Christian music festival is coming Saturday, Sept. 11 to the accesso ShoWare Center in Kent.

Awakening Music Festival 2021 will feature contemporary Christian music, celebrating Jesus Christ through worship and music.

The lineup includes Bethany Wohrle of Bethel Music, Austin French, Gawvi, Jonathan Traylor, Anne Wilson and Destiny City Music.

The festival, open to all ages, will run from 3:30 to 10 p.m. Doors open at 3 p.m. The event will include craft vendors and additional fun activities.

Tickets are $75 for VIP floor, $35 for floor general admission and $30 for seating bowl general admission (no floor access). Children 10 and under get in for free. Ticket prices will increase the day of the festival.
