City to give away free masks

Kent is hosting another mask giveaway event, Saturday, Nov. 21.

The event will distribute masks, with a limit of five per family, and hand sanitizer. The masks are themed “#WeAreKent” including a unique design. Several face mask designs have been unveiled and distributed at these events since August.

Interested residents will see signs and volunteers ready to direct traffic for the event, 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 21 at Morrill Meadows Park, Southeast 248th Street in Kent.

The next face mask distribution event will be at 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, at Kent Town Square Plaza. The theme of those masks will be winter and depict a snowy winter scene.
