Heavier Than Air Family Theatre Co. sets auditions for ‘Scrooge!’

Adult auditions for Heavier Than Air Family Theatre Co.’s upcoming production of “Scrooge!” are Tuesday, Sept. 25 and Thursday, Sept. 27.

The open auditions are for ages 14 and older is at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Building, main campus of Green River College, 12401 SE 320th St., Auburn.

“Scrooge!” is a charming stage musical that follows the plot of Charles Dickens’ literary classic, “A Christmas Carol.”

This is an informal, read-through type group audition. A song from the show will be provided, and no advance preparation is necessary. Community actors with strong singing and dancing skills are encouraged to attend. Comfortable shoes and clothes for movement are recommended.

Rehearsals are every Tuesday and Thursday from 7 to approximately 9:30 p.m. beginning Tuesday, Oct. 2, with performances scheduled for Dec. 14, 15, 16, 20, 21 and 22.

Auditions for children under the age of 14 are by invitation only.
