Living Well Kent kicks off farmers market June 12 on East Hill

At Morrill Meadows Park

Living Well Kent will kick off its farmers market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 12 at Morrill Meadows Park, 10600 SE 248th St., next to the Kent YMCA.

The group had to cancel its market in 2020 due to COVID-19, but it will operate this summer on June 26, July 10, July 24, Aug. 7, Aug. 21, Sept. 4 and Sept. 18.

The market will feature fresh, healthy, locally grown and culturally relevant food and artisan crafts. The market does accept food access and nutrition incentives including SNAP/EBT.
