The second annual Kent International Festival will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 26 at the Town Square Plaza Park at the corner of Second Avenue and West Smith Street.
Now in its third year, an Evening of Jazz and Art in Kent will run from 4-8 p.m. June 24 at the Kent Senior Activity Center, 600 E. Smith St.

VisFest is short for "Visual Literacy Arts Festival." The district started the event in 2002 to give students an outlet to display their creative and artistic visual-literacy talents to fellow students, teachers and the community.
