Rapper Nas to perform Aug. 17 at Kent’s ShoWare Center

25th anniversary of ‘Illmatic’ album

Iconic rapper Nas will perform at the accesso Showare Center at 8 p.m. on Saturday Aug. 17, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his legendary album “Illmatic.”

“Illmatic,” released in 1994, helped set the tone for the greatest era in hip-hop history. Along with his songs on ‘Illmatic,” Nas will also be performing all of his hits from his 25-year career.

Tickets are $125 for VIP; $99, $89 and $79 for Floor/Bowl; and $69, $59, $55 and $45 for Bowl. Tickets are available at
