Children and adults are encouraged to put on their Halloween costumes and participate in the annual Street of Treats from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25 in downtown Kent.
“The Street of Treats event is a cherished community occasion that brings families, local businesses, and the Halloween spirit together,” said Gaila Haas, executive director of the Kent Downtown Partnership, which presents the event. “It’s a fantastic opportunity for kids to have a blast in a safe environment and for our downtown businesses to showcase their creativity and generosity.”
The free fun, family friendly event turns downtown into a safe and festive trick-or-treating destination. Local businesses and partners will be handing out candy and treats.
Parents are advised to accompany their little ones throughout the adventure to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
The event begins at Kherson Park, 307 W. Gowe Street.
Sponsors of the event are 4 Culture, Republic Services, WaFd Bank, Freelove Orthodontics and Smile Design.
