Wizkid to perform at ShoWare Center in Kent March 31

Won Favorite Afrobeats Artist at the 2022 American Music Awards

Wizkid, a Nigerian singer and songwriter, will perform Friday, March 31 at the accesso ShoWare Center in Kent.

Showtime for the More Love, Less Ego Tour is 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are available at accessoshowarecenter.com. Prices are $595 for GA Pit VIP packages; $25o to $350 for Reserved VIP; $149.50 for GA Pit; $99.50 for Reserved 2; $69.50 for Reserved 3; and $39.50 for Reserved 4.

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, 32, known professionally as Wizkid, won the Favorite Afrobeats Artist at the 2022 American Music Awards on Sunday, Nov. 20 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. This marked the first year for the category. Other finalists in the category included Burna Boy, Fireboy, CKay and Tems. Wizkid also won the Favorite R&B Song with his song “Essence” featuring Tems and Justin Bieber.

Wizkid, began his music career at age 11 in Lagos, Nigeria, according to the ShoWare Center website.
