As part of their continued commitment to the local community, The Outlet Collection | Seattle is bringing together artists, musicians, politicians, dancers and other community leaders to celebrate Black History Month.
Find a display created by Olympic Middle School’s Black Student Union (BSU) and an art Display by Christopher B. Coleman (Artistic Love Life) in the connector between Burlington and the food court all month long. On Feb. 26, join the celebration at Court A, in front of Nordstrom Rack. This year’s theme is “Black Health and Wellness.”
“We’re very excited to see the work that has gone into these displays and the involvement of our community in pulling these talented individuals together,” said Lacey Katz, Marketing Director of The Outlet Collection | Seattle. “Creating an environment that celebrates our local community is one of our primary goals here at The Outlet Collection.”
The Outlet Collection | Seattle’s Black History Month celebration on Saturday, February 26th will take place next to Nordstrom Rack from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. More than a dozen community members and groups have been invited to speak, sing and perform. The celebration will feature DJ Mr. Nyce Guy, Miss Auburn Carrie Everett, Mayor Nancy Backus, Councilman Lawrence C.
