County seeks information for animal cruelty case near Auburn

Three dogs were found off of Green Valley Highway with swollen muzzles, indicating abuse.

Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC) needs help with a recent animal cruelty case involving three dogs near Auburn.

On April 29, RASKC released photos of the three dogs, who had been taken in by an animal control officer from the 1800 block of Southeast Green Valley Road in unincorporated King County.

The three dogs all have swollen muzzles, which appear to have been bound shut with a strap or tape. This is often done to keep animals from barking or making loud noises.

The investigation is being handled as a potential abandonment and animal cruelty case.

RASKC asks that any individual who may recognize the dogs, or have information on the identity of the owners, to call 206-296-7387 or to email pets@kingcounty.gov. When submitting information or a witness statement, use case number A25-001848.

Donations in cash or supplies can be made online at kingcounty.gov/pets or through the RASKC’s Amazon Wish List.

RASKC is located at 21616 64th Avenue South in Kent.
