The King County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a 50-year-old white man who has an arrest warrant for child molestation.
The suspect allegedly also made threats to a detective.
After Kent Police discovered the man was living in a motor home in Covington, they notified Covington Police and the King County Sheriff’s Office.
Police officers, SWAT teams and hostage negotiators responded Wednesday to the 26800 block of 156th Place Southeast. The suspect was not found there, however, and he is currently at large.
The suspect is believed to be from Covington or an unincorporated area of King County near the city.
