Kent Police have closed East Valley Highway at South 200th Street in all directions starting at about 3 p.m. Thursday because of a fatal car accident.
The road is expected to be closed anywhere between two to four hours as police investigate the accident. Details about the accident are not yet available.
Drivers are advised to use an alternate route. East Valley Highway is also known as 84th Avenue South.
