Kent and Renton firefighters quickly extinguished a house fire Friday in the 11600 block of Southeast 192nd Street.

No one was home when the fire broke out at about 1:44 p.m., according to a Kent Fire Department media release. One Renton firefighter was sent to a local hospital after suffering a minor burn.

Southeast 192nd Street is the border between Kent and Renton.

The owner of the home has been contacted. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
