Green River College’s Jennings receives award

Ross Jennings, vice president of International Programs and Extended Learning at Green River College, received the Dr. Werner O. Kubsch award at the Community Colleges for International Development (CCID) annual conference.

The conference was Feb. 20-22 in Orlando, Fla.

The award is given to an educator from a CCID member institution who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in international education and is an advocate for international education through curriculum and culture development, study abroad, faculty exchanges, educational linkages or other international projects.

Green River’s International Program ranks 10th among 1,200 community colleges in the U.S. and is known internationally for its nationwide university transfer program, high level of student service, on-campus housing and overseas school relationships.

Green River serves more than 10,000 students quarterly, at campuses in Auburn, Kent and Enumclaw.
