The ShoWare Center at Kent is the site of a major job fair today

Looking for a job? You might want to go to the ShoWare Center Thursday in Kent.

More than 60 employers from the Puget Sound region will offer hundreds of available jobs at the KOMO Job Fair from 1-6 p.m. Thursday at the city-owned center, located at 625 W. James St.

The openings include:

• Jobs in aviation, insurance, telecommunications, general office/clerical and financial services.

• Openings for transit workers, technical and software jobs, retail, construction, sales, customer service and casinos.

• More than 300 jobs with federal and state agencies, local law enforcement and military.

Experts also will be available at the job fair for advice writing resumes, handling job interviews and making the best first impression in front of a potential employer.
