Kent American Legion Post 15 holds annual Flag Retirement ceremony

Chriss R. Moen, legionnaire of American Legion Post 15, Kent, and Boy Scout Troop 406 prepare for the annual Flag Retirement Ceremony on Friday, June 14 at the The American Legion Hall in Kent.

The annual partnership is the traditional proper flag retirement/disposal ceremony for unserviceable, torn and tattered U. S. Flags.

The American Legion is one of the nation’s foremost authorities on the proper disposal of unserviceable U.S. flags.
