The Kent East Hill Boxing Club will present a benefit event Thursday

The Kent East Hill Boxing Club will present the East Hill Youth Benefit event at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 16 at the Kent Parks Department Community Center at the Kent Phoenix Academy, 11000 S.E. 264th St.

The free event is co-sponsored by the Kent Parks Department, Kent East Hill Revitalization, The Kent Youth Police Board, the Kent Drug Free Coalition and Empowering Youth, Kent Police, Kent Black Action Commission, and the East Hill Partnership of the Kent Chamber of Commerce.

The lineup includes speakers Chris Cates-Lopez on the topic of Replacing the Social Circle and Stacy Judd will talk about Teens and Responsibility with Alcohol.

The boxing club will put on a youth jump rope contest. Light refreshments will be served.
