Kent City Council sets Special Workshop meetings

The Kent City Council will have Special Workshop meetings on Friday, Feb. 1 and Saturday, Feb. 2, for its 2019 Strategic Planning Retreat.

The workshops are from 1 to 4:45 p.m. on Feb 1 and 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 2, at Lake Wilderness Lodge, 22500 SE 248th St., in Maple Valley.

The meetings are open to the public, but public testimony will not be allowed unless listed on the agenda or approved by the council during the meeting.

Council members will have lunch from noon to 1 p.m. on Friday, and breakfast from 8 to 8:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Lake Wilderness Lodge. They will meet for dinner from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Friday, at Gino’s Bistro, 23917 SE Kent-Kangley Road, in Maple Valley.
