Kent closes several streets due to snow

The city of Kent has closed several streets Wednesday morning because of snow.

The city of Kent has closed several streets Wednesday morning because of snow.

As of 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, crews had closed the following roads in both directions between the intersections listed:

Closed: S 218 St from 93 Ave S to 88 Ave S

Closed: S 208 St/S212 Wy from 100 Ave S to 91 Pl S (WinCo)

Closed: James Street from 98 Ave S to Central Ave

Closed: “Old” S 208th St from 96 Ave S to 92 Ave S

Closed: 42nd Ave from Hampton Wy to about S 262 St

Closed: S 248 St from 98 Ave S to 94 Ave S

Crews are working to keep these routes open at this time:

SR 516/Canyon Drive and the 277th Corridor
