Kent Fire Department honors four employees

The Kent Fire Department honored four of its employees for their work in 2012.

The winners of the 2012 awards are:

• Employee of the Year: Elizabeth Kingery

• Firefighter of the Year: John Robbins

• Officer of the Year: Battalion Chief John Willits

• Distinguished Service Award: Firefighter Rusty Olsen

Winners were announced at an awards ceremony at the Jan. 10 meeting of the Kent Fire Department Regional Fire Authority board at Fire Station 78 in Covington.
