Kent firefighters put out apartment complex garage fire

Firefighters from the Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority extinguished a garage fire that broke out at about 3:03 p.m. Wednesday at the Alderbrooke Apartments in the 400 block of Novak Lane.

Firefighters discovered smoke from the eaves of the detached seven-bay single story garage/storage. Firefighters contained the fire to the garage, according to Puget Sound Fire. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
