Kent Mayor Suzette Cooke received an “outstanding” rating while challenger Jim Berrios received a “good” rating in the Municipal League of King County’s 2009 voters guide released in July.
City Council candidates Dennis Higgins and Dana Ralph each received “very good” ratings from the Municipal League. Higgins and Ralph are running against each other for Position No. 6 to replace Tim Clark, who opted not to run again, but who is running for the Kent School Board.
The mayor and Council Position No. 6 positions will appear on the Nov. 3 ballot.
