Kent Police arrest 15-year-old in connection to shooting at Legion hall

Kent Police have arrested a 15-year-old male suspect in connection to a February shooting that struck two young adults at the American Legion Hall, 25406 S 252nd St., Kent.

Police said they had limited information and uncooperative victims at the time of the incident on Feb. 23.

The 15-year-old male suspect is from Des Moines and has a 2018 gun possession charge, police said. He had been taken into custody and booked for assault in the first degree and attempted murder.

Kent detectives continued to investigate the case with limited information that was provided. Detectives were able to develop leads and with the help of the U.S. Marshals, made an arrest in the case.
