Kent Detectives have been actively investigating the disappearance of 35-year-old Kent resident, Eduardo Ivan Guardiola Ayala.

Ayala was last seen on Dec. 8. He was said to be operating a maroon 2005 Toyota Sienna Van, Wash., license plate AJU6432. Neither Ayala nor the vehicle has been located.

Ayala tends to stay in Kent area motels and is a cook at a restaurant on the West Hill of Kent. He has connections to the Portland, Ore., area and has family in California. His family has had no contact whatsoever with Ayala, even through the holidays.

Thus far, investigators have had little or no leads in locating Ayala.

Ayala is a Hispanic male. He stands 5 foot, 11 inches tall, weighing 190 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Kent Police are asking for anyone who may have information regarding the whereabouts of Ayala to call the Kent Police Department tip line at 253-856-5808, or the non-emergency line at 253-852-2121.
