A sampling of Kent Police incidents Jan. 12-18:
Jan. 12
• Dispute between employees: Officers responded to a commercial business regarding a dispute between two employees. One employee reportedly became upset after a door was slammed and left the business holding a large knife. Officers arrived, located the individual, and took him into custody. The knife was recovered.
• Attempted robbery: 8:49 p.m., officers responded to Chase Bank, 23600 104th Ave. SE, regarding a reported robbery. The victim stated he was using the ATM when several individuals approached and demanded his belongings. Nearby bystanders shouted they were calling the police, and the suspects returned to their vehicle and left the area.
Jan. 17
• Carjacking: 9:08 p.m., officers responded to a carjacking at 10710 SE 256th St. The victim reported that two suspects approached her, demanded her belongings, and fled in her vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered, unoccupied, in Seattle.
Jan. 18
• Carjacking: 8:16 p.m., officers responded to Bower Village Apartments, 24006 108th Pl. SE, regarding an armed carjacking. The victim reported that two suspects approached him while he was seated in his vehicle and demanded his belongings. The suspects fled in the victim’s vehicle, which was later tracked to Seattle.
