Kent Sunrise Rotary Club honors Meridian Middle School students, staff

The Kent Sunrise Rotary Club recently honored students and staff at Meridian Middle School for their academic and community service.

Rotary members, family, guests and honorees gathered March 26 to share a meal and honor the students. Damon Chan and Nicole Setiawan were recognized for academic achievement. Shae Ferguson and Yolanda Le were honored for their service and citizenship. Math teacher Paul Heath and custodian Trinidad Que also were recognized. Assistant Prinicipal Michele Tang, the honorees and their families were invited to attend the special celebration.

The Kent Sunrise Rotary Club dedicates one meeting each month during the school year to honor a middle school in Kent School District.
