Families living in South King County who meet income qualifications could get help paying their Puget Sound Energy gas bill through Multi-Service Center’s Energy Assistance Program.

For South King County residents who are Puget Sound Energy gas customers, own or rent their residences, directly pay their gas bills, and whose incomes are at or below the current qualifying guidelines, Multi-Service Center may be able to help them pay their bills. If qualified, payments will be made directly to Puget Sound Energy and may cover all or a portion of a gas bill, or may even result in a credit to their account.

Interested persons should call Multi-Service Center’s Energy Assistance toll-free appointment line at (800) 348-7144. This line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Since 1971, Multi-Service Center has helped low-income South King County residents create self-sufficient futures. Through more than 30 comprehensive programs, such as housing, energy assistance, food and clothing, education and employment, MSC creates a healthy, safe and compassionate community by finding and implementing real solutions to the root causes of poverty.
