Lynnwood man fatally shot in Kent dispute on East Hill identified

Carlos Garcia, 32, died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to medical examiner

A 32-year-old Lynnwood man fatally shot on the East Hill in Kent has been identified as Carlos Garcia.

Garcia died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Officers responded at about 12:24 a.m. June 15 near the 12900 block of Southeast 275th Street to reports of a shooting and found Garcia on the ground and unresponsive with a significant wound on his chest, according to Kent Police. Officers began life-saving efforts, which were continued by medics, but Garcia died at the scene.

Police do not believe that it was a random incident. As of early June 17, police had not made an arrest.
