A man was shot and critically hurt at an East Hill apartment complex late Thursday night, Kent Police said.
Police are trying to determine who opened fire, a shooting that shattered windows of several cars and homes at the Somerset Apartments near 104th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 256th Street, near Kent-Meridian High School.
The injured man was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Police were collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses. It is unclear if the shooter was in a car or on foot at the time of the shooting.
Kent police are asking anyone with information on the shooting to call them at 253-852-2121.
