Man shot, injured on Kent’s East Hill

Sunday evening near Pizza Hut

Someone shot and injured a 27-year-old Kent man on Sunday evening on the East Hill.

Kent Police units were dispatched at about 5:32 p.m. to a shooting outside the Pizza Hut, 13003 SE Kent Kangley Road, according to an email from police spokeswoman Melanie Robinson.

Officers began treating the victim. Paramedics transported the man in serious condition to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Police were unable to locate the suspect and are still investigating the case, Robinson said. A motive for the shooting is unknown.
