Police arrested a man for investigation of vehicle prowl, after he reportedly took perfume and reading glasses at 3:04 a.m. March 20 from a car in the 100 block of North Railroad Avenue.

Police arrested a man for investigation of vehicle prowl, after he reportedly took perfume and reading glasses at 3:04 a.m. March 20 from a car in the 100 block of North Railroad Avenue.

The owner of the car called police after spotting a man inside his car. The car owner said he approached the man, who fled on foot before police arrived. A police dog searched the neighborhood and found the man underneath a van parked in the 200 block of State Avenue North. Police found the perfume and glasses on the man and returned the items to the car owner.
