Kent remains in the running for one of the 16 playoff berths. The top eight teams in each of the two conferences advance to the playoffs. The Predators are in the mix with several other teams for one of the eight berths out of the Intense Conference.

The three division champions from the Intense and United conferences earn automatic playoff spots.

As part of the Predators drive toward the playoffs, the team is conducting a food drive June 4 along with Food Lifeline, a Seattle-based nonprofit that distributes food to food banks and shelters in Western Washington.

Fans can bring a can of food to the June 4 game and get a $14.50 end zone seat for $7 at the ticket box office.
