Residential customers of Puget Sound Energy can exchange up to 10 incandescent bulbs for free Energy Star-qualified energy-efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs at a Rock the Bulb event in Kent.

Residential customers of Puget Sound Energy can exchange up to 10 incandescent bulbs for free Energy Star-qualified energy-efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs at a Rock the Bulb event in Kent.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, July 23-24 at the Fred Meyer store, 10201 S.E. 240th St., on the East Hill.

Customers also can participate in activity stations to learn about ways to lower home energy use, enter to win efficient appliances from Whirlpool and receive other prizes from campaign sponsors.

PSE representatives fluent in several languages will be at the event to encourage participation by non-English-speaking customers and answer everyone’s questions about energy efficiency.
